Lauren and Dustin chose to make it official in true Nashville style — laid-back, lively, and right in the heart of where their story began: Mother’s Ruin (for the reception). With their toddler son by their side and another baby on the way, the day reflected real life — not staged perfection, but a moment in time they’ll never get back. The pre-wedding photos were done at a lavish Airbnb property, and the ceremony was at Memorial Lutheran Church.
Lauren was eight months pregnant and glowing, and while the day came with plenty of moving parts (and voices in the mix), I stayed focused on the story beneath it all — the connection, the laughter, and the fleeting in-between moments that tell who people really are.
Because at the end of the day, weddings aren’t performances — they’re people being people. And that’s always where the best stories live.
The science behind my signature photojournalist approach lies in observation over orchestration—documenting genuine emotion through storytelling. My non-intrusive style and use of off-camera lighting make me one of the most distinctive wedding photographers in Nashville
