I had the distinct pleasure of doing pre-wedding lifestyle photos for Josey and Ben at Centennial Park—just hours before their elopement out of town. The couple was drawn to my storytelling style of photography, and being LGBT-friendly. Many couples, like them, love this approach and often think of themselves as "awkward" and just want to have photos taken of a day in their lives—minus the posing and directing.
Here's a bit of a blurb about the couple, as eloquently phrased by Josey-
We met during the height of the pandemic, when the world had slowed down and connection felt rare. With most places closed, we spent quiet evenings together—sharing wine, trading books, and learning how much we had in common.
We bonded over a love of stories, long walks, and endless conversations about everything from the stars to the perfect cup of coffee. (One of us is still loyal to instant coffee—to the other’s horror.)
After spending too long apart while pursuing our careers, we’re finally able to start this next chapter together—and we couldn’t be happier.
