Stairway To Heaven Proposal

Mike and Ashley met in law school and have weathered the changes and storms in life together— now the time has come to make things etched in stone! That's right—Mike took her to Nashville to check out the sights and propose to her on one of their outings. Originally Mike wanted me to photograph the proposal at a private venue they toured. However, many private venues have cracked down on permit policies which can be costly and hard to obtain. Sadly, the intrusive behavior of some photographers ruined it for the bushel. Anyhow, here we are, and we chose a public place— a perfect one! 

The couple wanted to see Warner Park with it's picturesque stairway, and there it began! Ashley happily and emotionally accepted Mike's proposal at the base of the stairs, as a few onlookers wished them well. It was indeed a lovely Stairway To Heaven proposal! Or Houses Of The Holy, lol. Congrats kids, and thanks for entrusting me with your milestone proposal moment!
