Meet Brandon and Adriene. I did their engagement photos in the spring, soon after they secured my services for their wedding photography. Time flew by, and before we knew it, November was here. The couple was busy ironing out the details, and I truly enjoyed photographing their wedding at WO Smith Music School in Nashville.
I don’t normally post first looks, but it wasn’t me who orchestrated the moment, it would have happened with me, or any other photographer. I thought it was lovely with the gradually setting sun.
Soon, the final prep and the arrival of the guests would happen, and then came the ceremony. This lovely wedding at WO Smith Music School would not have been possible without the other great wedding service providers.

As guests arrived, these two ladies walked by as I was observing the setting sun reflecting in the building windows across the street.
Perhaps this is my most sinister wedding photo to date. 🙂
It was a lovely ceremony, and dinner break, thanks to the crew at Two Fat Men Catering. It wasn’t long after that, guests and the couple would move around, and the party started officially. My friend Brad with Third Coast DJ kept the party rocking.
The biggest force that drew Adriene and Brandon and me together, they wanted storytelling with simplicity. They knew what they wanted, and valued time with their friends and family, and wanted to enjoy their day without disappearing for an hour with a photographer. We still did some family photos, and then quickly back to letting the event create the photos. I just needed to watch for it. I was honored to be their choice of Nashville wedding photographers, and tell their story through documentary wedding photography.
