Kelie and Ron had their first date 11 years ago, dinner at a nice restaurant followed by live music. There was something special there and it just flowed organically, they haven’t lost that magic from the first date. Fast forward to their 10 year anniversary, Ron proposed to Kelie, it was an emphatic yes! The couple had a private ceremony in Hawaii. The couple celebrated with friends and family in the Nashville area by having a beautiful and fun filled Terian Farms wedding reception.
The Friday evening event opened up with a cocktail hour and mingling, followed by speeches and dinner break. Sammy B’s provided the tasty pasta bar and before dinner hors d’oeuvres.
Kelie and Ron made their grand entrance and had the rest of the evening to greet their guests. As more guests visited the bar and began dancing to the tunes DJ Todd cranked out, the ties were loosened for sure!

These were some amazingly sweet and loving moments between the newlyweds with their first dance in the presence of their loved ones.
Kelie took a few moments to dance with her father, and then Ron danced with his mom. I love highly charged emotion, with the lighting and mood to compliment those moments.
Through the eyes of a bride, admiring the moment with her husband and new mother in-law, a beautiful perspective.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I strongly believe the best moments of energy and human interaction cannot be posed or orchestrated. They happen if you watch.
Oops! Kelie reiterated, it was the the shoes and not being used to the heavy restricting dress. Sure, you get a pass this time. But Ron did help you up.
The heat lamps felt great, the night temperature was perfect. Maybe 65 degrees.
Kelie advised me that Ron has camera radar and hates photo taking. I think because I didn’t interfere with the event, he let his guard down and didn’t notice me. People being themselves make the best photographs.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this sweet Terian Farms wedding reception with Ron and Kelie, Godspeed to your future. I look forward to staying in touch.
