Kelsey and Conor met while on holiday in Berlin, Germany where their groups of friends all stayed in the same hostel. Kelsey is from Nashville, and Conor is from Manchester, England. They formed a strong connection and then took their own trip together to Oxford, England where they got engaged! Fast forward to current day, the couple has settled in the St. Louis area, and on June 23, 2018, they would enjoy a lovely Summer wedding at Terian Farms surrounded by family and friends.
Bridal prep was done at a nearby to the venue lakeside cabin. The groom and groomsmen were out doing their thing, I would catch up with them later. This was a unique perspective through the outside window.
Another perspective of banter and fun interaction between bridesmaids through the inside window.
Kelsey must have given the talented stylists with One 10 Beauty the thumbs up! I knew her and Conor were a great fit for what I offer as a documentary wedding photographer becauseĀ they’re both very nice, but also modest and reserved. I could tell their story without making a production, perfect.
The arrival to Terian Farms, it was a very warm day but not sweltering hot. The slight breeze was very pleasant.
Anyone could have orchestrated this. But I find the mood and feel is more genuine when you just watch for it and position yourself accordingly. Everyone is enjoying the final moments before the early evening ceremony.
The British are coming! Conor had arranged a bus for his British friends to be taken to the venue, we were all so glad to see them! The bus had been slightly delayed due to traffic or road construction in Nashville.
Pastor David Cassidy ready to do his thing!
I like to watch guests during the ceremony too, rather than get tunnel vision on the couple. There are moments where there is time to notice the surroundings as long as the critical moments are priority.
Kelsey walking up in her dress made natural emotion flow with her younger sister, a beautiful and touching moment indeed!
Absolutely beautiful ceremony at this Summer wedding at Terian Farms! Perfect time of day, sun was setting below the trees and there was a nice breeze. The view is quite scenic at Terian Farms especially when the horses are in the rolling meadows. You might even see Ruby the cat!
Conor and Kelsey had a moment to themselves to enjoy before a brief speech and dinner break.
The couple made their entrance and speeches began. They can be quite a form of entertainment and comedy at British weddings.
Kelsey’s mom enjoyed getting to relax and kick back, and enjoy the festivities.
Open bar time, and business would soon pick up! These are no amateurs.
I told you.
Kelsey cutting loose and being part of the party, not the entire focus of it. This made for some great human emotion and storytelling!
The guys would tie themselves together with their ties, this was hilarious and entertaining!
It was nice to see Conor celebrating with his friends from England. I truly hope the couple loves how I documented their day.
This crowd was not ready to wind this party down, but 11:30 is clean up time at most venues. The couple would enjoy a sparkler exit and a few moments to mingle with guests. I hope you’ve enjoyed this wonderful Summer wedding at Terian Farms with Kelsey and Conor! Congratulations guys! Thank you for letting me do your storytelling.
