You’re in for a special treat, I have a gorgeous intimate, scenic Tennessee wedding to share with you. I made the drive, just under two hours from Nashville, to Belvidere, Tennessee to document Carissa and Blake’s morning wedding. The venue was at historic Falls Mill, which is incredibly beautiful! It was a cool, overcast, foggy, and mildly misty late October morning, it was perfect and refreshing.
Look at this, some things you can’t make up! It doesn’t get much prettier than this,
Carissa did her last minute bridal prep the venue set up in the hollow, and golf carts would transport guests from the parking area to the hollow where the ceremony was.
This cute table setting was for a brief gathering after the ceremony for family and friends.
Blake and Carissa live in Nashville, and met doing Crossfit. With that said, it’s probably a good thing they love the photos, lol! Blake grew up near the venue in Belvidere, and he remembers going there a lot growing up. Carissa is from Alabama, so this was a good central spot for people from the local area, Alabama, and Nashville.

The ceremony took place overlooking the falls and the stream, which you could hear in the background. The misty and mildly chilly weather conditions were perfect to set the mood. It was a lovely intimate celebration that was filled with love and laughter.
You can see the goosebumps on Carissa’s arm, but the temperature was quite enjoyable after some roasters over the Summer. Towards the very end, rain moved in and everyone hightailed out, but it held off just long enough!
That evening, we met back in Nashville at the Southernaire Market for a dinner reception and cocktail hour. Friends and some of their families enjoyed a bite to eat and threw back some drinks in downtown Nashville. It was a beautiful celebration with a nice contrast of locations. I hope you’ve enjoyed this scenic Tennessee wedding and congratulations to Blake and Carissa!
