Madison Creek farm wedding

I’m very excited to showcase this beautiful artistic outdoor Madison Creek farm wedding, with an artistic shabby chic style! The venue is located in a slightly outlying part of Goodlettsville, but still very easy and quick to get to, one thing I’ve always loved about Nashville….you’re minutes from countryside if you want it 🙂 I dedicated the last article to Madison Creek farm info and photos, decor, etc. Now this one is all about Eric and Amanda! I’ve been good friends with Eric for a couple years, and we were all proud of him when he met Amanda over a year ago, and I knew they were a great fit! Both are artistic and community oriented, support local craftsmanship and love local foods and beers, etc. All part of being East Nashville 🙂

It was exciting seeing them plan their wedding and what they come up with style wise. Once they selected Madison Creek Farm for their wedding venue, and toured it with them prior, I knew it was the perfect spot for them. The landscape and decor really fit their styles and personalities, this is one advantage I usually don’t have, knowing them as well as I do before doing their wedding photography, I knew they found their perfect place that really fit them! Plus, it would compliment my style of wedding photography nicely.

Now time for the wedding ceremony!! The ceremony area is nestled in a shaded lush green area, with a view of the flower fields and organic crops, and quiet serenity. I loved the touch of the subtle but mood filling wedding musicians 🙂

Now to steal the bride and groom away for a while, and then get back to the reception up the hill 🙂

Time for the couple to spend time with their friends and families, and enjoy some delicious food catered by Chef Jeff of CJ’s Catering! Tables and chairs provided by Art Pancake’s rental. I love capturing natural fun and emotion with a journalistic documentary wedding photography style! Here are the reception photos, you can feel the party taking place by viewing the photos 🙂

I left my backup Fuji XT-1 with the Zeiss 12mm on the tripod so I could do long exposure of the fireworks. The whole day was captured with Fuji XT-1’s with the 32mm Zeiss, 56mm Fuji and the 12mm Zeiss. Hope you’ve enjoyed this magnificent wedding ! All the elements came into play….happy couple, lots of love, fun, and happy guests and family….full tummies, dancing, a great celebration! Plus a venue that will no doubt be a favorite of Nashville wedding photographers, myself included. Congratulations Eric and Amanda!
