Back in the Fall, I received an inquiry through my Facebook business page that I won’t soon forget. The lady who messaged me said that her and her mate wanted to do a modern day Bonnie and Clyde conceptual photoshoot with their friend’s antique car. I was all in!
I went out to Pegram, maybe 30 minutes from city limits to meet them at their friend’s house in the country. He had this amazing and rare 1925 Dodge that was all original and still ran. I think he would later restore the car, but it’s so cool as is, you could drive it without worrying about a tiny ding or scratch. The couple got a hold of the Bonnie and Clyde era wardrobe and weapons, and made it a concept. They wanted to make this their Christmas / holiday card they’d send to their loved ones.
There was one caveat. I had to wait until after the holidays to post any online. Usually after 3 months, I’d forget and just not post them. But this was so unique and fun to do, I’m sharing this with you now, lol!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this modern day Bonnie and Clyde concept photoshoot. There is a drop in stress level when taking a peaceful ride in the country and leaving the city behind for a bit. It’s nice to experience some Americana, work with nice people, and do something different. it’s a win win for the creative soul.
The new year is a perfect time to apply for that new job or seek a promotion with your current job. Or for those daring entrepreneurs, it’s always a good a time to seek a career change or new business opportunity! Don’t use that 5 year old headshot. Or worse yet, a selfie or other cell phone snapshot. New year new headshot. It’s a small price to pay to put your best image forward.
A good clean, well lit headshot with a good strong angle makes a much better presentation when applying or presenting yourself professionally. It shows effort, presentation, professionalism, and confidence. It all works together. In many cases, it’s a business expense and can be written off on your income taxes.
New year new headshot, I’m happy to make an appointment and get this done for you if you’re in the Nashville area. You can always travel here just for that because you know you want to come to Nashville anyway. Whether you’re a lawyer, realtor, accountant, in retain management, etc. a professional headshot is an asset to you. Or even acting, talent, theatrical. Let’s do this.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be a trusted Nashville wedding photographer servicing many realtor headshots for both established and new realtors. Nashville has a fast growing real estate market for both commercial and residential real estate. There are also a lot of new realtors to accommodate this rapid growth. But how do they all get noticed and show buyers they are serious about earning their business? It starts with having a nicely done professional headshot.
As a realtor, you are a professional offering a very personal service. Home selling and buying can be a tiresome and nerve racking process, so it’s always nice to have a good assertive realtor who is also caring and human. A professional realtor headshot can help represent that. Most every realtor’s business card has their photo on it. So why not put some care into it, since it represents your professional image and what your potential clients will see? A lot about professional image is about effort.
A home or commercial property is often the biggest purchase a buyer / buyers will ever make. They need a realtor they can trust, and who is looking out for their interest as well. So a good professional realtor headshot investment helps show commitment on your part as a realtor, and helps you stand out. May the best service provider win.
I’m honored to be a trusted photographer to provide realtor and other professional headshots in Nashville. I show my commitment to you by providing reliable service, fast turnaround, professional / understated retouching, and giving you the best image for your business. Headshot services begin at just $100.00 all inclusive. I can do in studio, ambient / outdoor or combination of both. Different wardrobe options for seasonal use are also an option. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I received a phone call from a representative of VSP Global about doing a corporate headshot session during a seminar they were putting on in Nashville. It would be at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel resort, in the Canal ballrooms. The group of optometrists would be attending the educational seminar that VSP put on, and getting proper business headshots were one of the perks of attending. Here are some photo highlights from the VSP Global corporate headshot event!
No matter how many times I’ve been to that hotel, the navigation always confuses me, LOL! Thankfully I had a helper and I traveled as light as possible. Portable high key background, 2 strobe heads, stands, 84″ parabolic umbrella, spare strobe head, and camera bag. Plus a stool. This helps for getting the best angle and posture for the subjects, looking friendly and approachable yet confident and professional.
It was fun to meet people from all over, and be able to provide them with what they needed quickly because all 60 or so of them were between presentations and of course want to fast forward to dinner and kicking back. I hope you’ve enjoyed photo highlights from this VSP Global corporate headshot event! Here are a few key points Lauren, the event coordinator made in her review of my services on my Google business page!
–I first contacted Jay after only seeing his website. He was incredibly helpful over the phone, which is why I ultimately chose him for our event. He explained how the process would work on the day of, and what to expect .
–On the day of the event we had a very last minute schedule change and I called Jay first thing in the morning to ask if he could start an hour early that day. He willingly obliged. He and his assistant arrived at the agreed upon time, set up quickly and were friendly and professional as they quickly moved our group through for headshots.
–Jay got the photos to me less than 2 days after the event and they look great! I am so impressed with the quality! I am incredibly grateful to Jay for being flexible and accommodating of my changing schedule and for making the whole process from start to finish a great experience for both myself and my business partners. I have nothing but good things to say about Jay, both personally and professionally.
I was recently contacted by Kaitlyn, co owner of a local East Nashville architectural design business, nine 12 Design. They are now in their second year of doing business and needed new business headshots / lifestyle photos of them. I told her I had them covered.
This is Kaitlyn-
This is Martin, Kaitlyn’s husband and business partner-
It’s always fun to meet other local small business owners and learn from each other. A great deal of encouragement comes through networking! Kaitlyn and Martin of nine 12 Design specialize in residential design and historic preservation. They definitely value the history and charm of our city and want to preserve that through their work.
Here is the story of how Martin and Kaitlyn started in the field and came to be entrepreneurs of their East Nashville architectural design business. Story written by Kaitlyn :
– We both went to Notre Dame and were working in architecture right out of school. I moved to Nashville in 2012 and started working on residential projects and getting a lot of exposure to project management and business operations. I think we always knew we wanted to start our own business together but took a bit of a plunge last year when I was ready for a job change.
Our goal was to work with our neighbors in East Nashville and provide personable, custom design solutions for projects big and small. We’ve worked on carports, porches, large additions, renovations, and a few new custom homes. We love collaborating closely with clients and have a very in depth understanding of historic overlay design guidelines. We’ve been very lucky to both be able to do this full time and we hope it continues!
I encourage anyone reading this to keep my new friends at nine 12 Design in mind for their architectural design related projects. I certainly wish them success moving forward!
